🌿 General Agreement

By using our website or placing an order with Bark & Bloom, you agree to the policies outlined below. These terms apply to all purchases, deliveries, subscriptions, events, workshops, and custom work. Bark & Bloom reserves the right to update or revise these policies at any time.

 

🌸 Product Availability & Seasonal Sourcing

Bark & Bloom works with seasonal, thoughtfully sourced flowers, grown on our farm when available and supplemented through trusted wholesale partners when needed. Because flowers are living, natural materials, availability varies throughout the year and is influenced by season, weather, and supply conditions.

Natural variation is part of the beauty of our work and should be expected. Substitutions may be necessary and do not qualify for refunds, provided the overall size, value, and spirit of the design are maintained.

 

🎨 Designer’s Choice & Creative Process

Most Bark & Bloom offerings are designer’s choice, allowing us to create with flexibility, intuition, and respect for what is most beautiful and available at the time of design.

Designer’s Choice arrangements:

  • Are created using seasonal, thoughtfully sourced blooms

  • Reflect Bark & Bloom’s natural, garden-inspired style

  • Are one-of-a-kind and not intended to replicate photos exactly

  • Are guided by artistic discretion rather than fixed recipes

Photos shared on our website or social platforms serve as style inspiration only.

 
Helpful Notes at Checkout

During checkout, you may include brief notes such as:

  • who the flowers are for

  • where they will be placed

  • any sensitivities or flowers to avoid

These notes gently guide the design, but do not function as custom requests or guarantees. Specific flower varieties, color palettes, or detailed design direction cannot be accommodated.

By placing an order, you are trusting the creative process and allowing Bark & Bloom to design with intention, seasonality, and care.

 

💳 Pricing, Payments & Sales Tax

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Applicable sales tax and delivery fees are calculated at checkout. Prices and offerings may change without notice.

 

🚚 Delivery, Distance & Drop-Off Responsibility

 

Delivery Range & Accuracy

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct delivery range at checkout. Delivery pricing is based on distance and time required. We charge $1/min of drive time one way from our studio near Purfoy Rd and Angier Rd in Fuquay. 

If an incorrect delivery range is selected, additional fees may apply. Orders may be delayed until the adjusted fee is approved, or canceled if payment is not received.

 

Leave at Door (No Signature)

By selecting “Leave at Door (No Signature)”, you authorize Bark & Bloom to leave your order unattended at the delivery location (porch, doorstep, office, lobby, gate, etc.).

Once delivery is completed, responsibility transfers to the purchaser or recipient. Bark & Bloom is not responsible for:

  • Theft

  • Weather exposure

  • Delayed retrieval

  • Animals

  • Third-party handling

  • Shared or unsecured spaces (apartments, offices, gated areas)

A delivery photo, GPS confirmation, or driver verification serves as proof of successful delivery.

 

☀️ Weather & Temperature Disclaimer

Flowers are sensitive to heat, cold, and weather conditions. During extreme temperatures or inclement weather, Bark & Bloom is not responsible for damage that occurs after delivery — especially when unattended delivery is selected. Choosing unattended delivery during extreme conditions transfers all associated risk to the purchaser.

 

🏠 Incorrect Address & Failed Deliveries

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including street address, unit numbers, gate codes, and recipient contact details.

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information, access issues, or recipient unavailability, additional delivery or redelivery fees may apply. Orders may be canceled without refund if delivery cannot be completed.

 

🔁 Refunds, Replacements & Satisfaction

All sales are final once delivery has been completed.

Replacements or store credit may be considered only in cases of florist error and must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, along with:

  • One clear close-up photo of the issue

  • One full photo of the arrangement (front view)

  • One photo showing the back of the arrangement

Refunds or credits are not issued for:

  • Natural variation

  • Substitutions

  • Weather-related damage

  • Theft or delayed retrieval

  • Personal preference or dissatisfaction with style

 

❌ Cancellations & Order Changes

Same-day orders cannot be canceled once design has begun.

Future orders must be canceled at least 48 hours prior to delivery to be eligible for cancellation.

Custom, event, and wedding work require a signed contract and non-refundable retainer. These terms will be outlined separately.

 

💐 Events, Weddings & Custom Installations

Large-scale events, weddings, and custom installations require a signed agreement and non-refundable retainer. Final payment is due prior to installation. Seasonal availability and natural variation apply to all custom work.

 

🌾 Workshops, Classes & Farm Events

Workshop tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred with advance notice. Events may be rescheduled due to weather or instructor availability. If Bark & Bloom cancels an event, a credit will be issued.

 

💐 Happy Wife, Happy Life Club –  Policy

This plan includes four designer’s choice floral arrangements. Delivery fees and any optional upgrades are billed 7 days before each delivery.
If a delivery fee is not completed, that delivery will be postponed and may be rescheduled once payment is received, within 12 months of the plan start date.

📦 Subscriptions

 

Subscription Billing

Subscriptions are billed according to the selected schedule. Customers are responsible for managing, pausing, or canceling subscriptions before the next billing date.

Missed deliveries due to incorrect information or missed pickup are not refundable.

 

Subscription Pickup

If you are unable to pick up your bouquet, you may send a friend or neighbor in your place. Bouquets cannot be held past the scheduled pickup window.

If you are unable to arrange pickup, you may choose to donate your bouquet. Donated bouquets are delivered to a local care facility or community organization.

 

Subscriber Responsibilities

Subscribers agree to:

  • Monitor email communications (including spam/promotions folders)

  • Notify us if reminders are not received

  • Pick up bouquets on time or arrange a substitute

  • Bring a vessel with water if desired (black buckets remain with Bark & Bloom)

  • Report concerns within 24 hours

 

Our Promise to Subscribers

Bark & Bloom commits to:

  • Providing fresh, thoughtfully designed seasonal flowers

  • Having bouquets ready at the scheduled time and location

  • Addressing concerns promptly and with care

 

🖼 Intellectual Property

All branding, floral designs, photographs, written content, and website materials are the property of Bark & Bloom and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

 

⚖ Limitation of Liability

Bark & Bloom is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected order.

 

📍 Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
